Here We Come A-wassailing
from the music of David Tsai
This is a synthesized recording.
I was enjoying the winter season when I heard a particularly catchy tune. After doing some research, I decided to arrange it for the flute and piano.
Synthesized means that a computer generated an audio clip by compiling together different sound samples. No real people were involved in the production of such a performance (except for the computer operators and programmers). Thus, the recording sounds sub-realistic and lacks the qualities of a human performance, such as expression and establishment of the Pyramid of Sound.
My compositions, in the order in which they were written, are as follows:
- In the Flower Field
- Hope for Peace
- Friendship Song
- Victory Revisited
- Here We Come A-wassailing (Arrangement)
- The Evil Scientist
- The Storytellers
- The Star-Spangled Banner (Arrangement)
- Only Words
- [The Current Working Draft]
I’ll be putting some more performances up here sometime. There are two other compositions, titled Ghost Note and Mysterious, but they are so short that I didn’t include them in the list above.
